Why I built Nilu

Because our pets are family.

After adopting Niya, I realized how difficult it can be to find someone I genuinely trust to care for her.

Dog owners are not looking for just anyone who is available. We want someone who understands that our dog is part of the family.

I wanted to create a place where owners could send one request, see which nearby walkers are genuinely available, compare them, and choose the right person.

No public phone numbers, no endless messages, and no compromising on peace of mind.

Our name

Niya + Lulu = Nilu

The name Nilu combines the names of the two animals who turned my home into a family.
