NiLu Terms of Use
1. The service
NiLu is a platform that connects pet owners with independent caregivers. NiLu is not the employer of caregivers and does not guarantee that a particular user will be suitable for another user's needs.
2. Accurate information and user responsibility
Users must provide accurate and current information about themselves, the services they offer and their pets. NiLu may not be used for impersonation, fraud, harassment, illegal activity, or harm to other users or animals.
3. Requests and bookings
Requests and bookings are made between users through the platform. Pet owners are responsible for providing relevant pet information and instructions, and caregivers are responsible for deciding whether they can safely provide the requested service.
4. Safety
Users are responsible for taking reasonable safety precautions, arranging a meet-and-greet where appropriate, and sharing important information about a pet's behavior, health, limitations or special needs.
5. Reviews
Reviews on NiLu are intended to reflect a genuine experience after a completed service. False, abusive or misleading reviews are not permitted.
6. Account moderation
NiLu may restrict, suspend or ban accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, prevention of abuse, violation of these terms, or protection of the platform and community.
7. Beta and payments
NiLu is currently in beta. During this period, some services may be available without a platform fee. NiLu may introduce payments or platform fees in the future; any such change will be communicated before it applies to new bookings.
8. Changes to the service
Because NiLu is in beta, features, interfaces and workflows may change. We will aim to provide notice of material changes to these terms or to how personal information is used.
